Vote responsibly

It wasn't until I saw this video made by my friend Vamsy, that I actually pulled this whole politics thing from my subliminal self to the consciousness. I knew the elections were around, but didnt give a shit about it... just like most of you reading this.

I'm gonna keep this short coz the video says most of what I want to. We talk shit about politicians, and that the system is all wrong and that we need a total reform. We watch movies like Rang De Basanti and Yuva and walk out the cinema with loads of adrenaline and we nominate them for many awards. But we hardly do anything for real. I mean, think about it... What happened to all those who tried bring that kinda change? What happened to that political party started a few years back by the IIT alumni guys which was supposed to be elite and bring about a political reform? How many politicians are aware of a squat of economics? And how many are atleast slightly sincere? How many are both? Im expecting too much!!

How about... How many have finished school? Forget it! How many have'nt been criminals in the past? The answer is ..we dont know, and we dont care.

Finally, when there's someone out there who believes he can change it all, and is actually educated enough to analyse the economy and do something about it, and there's a party full of educated men and women,

THE LEAST WE CAN DO, IS........... VOTE.
